New Website In Progress
Hey everyone, you might have noticed I have been missing in action for about 8 months. This was due to a transition out of the frozen tundra (MN), and other “things” I won’t mention 
- I am now living in LA, California. I never was much of a “snow” guy, any artists who have endured a long winter will understand.
The Name Change
No more Jay Hollen, I have officially changed the artist name which all new projects will be under. They will now be under the letter “J”… Unless of course I decide to have an alter ego album, which in that case it will be named whatever . So anything pre 2009 is Jay Hollen.
Site Update
I am in the middle of a huge site update, which will hold me over for a bit and give me some room to grow, when it is done. I will have quite a bit of new features. Images section, Blog, Live Calendar, Video area, Music area with downloads and buy songs and albums, old and new. I will have a free downloads area in the store so feel free to grab them all. Pages will be filled in with content as it is happening.. Like right now I am in the process of an album so.. No shows at the moment.
J Album News
I am in an depths of creation and expect completion in late October 2009. I really look forward to this release, if something changes this will be the place to hear about it.
**Those of you who are wondering about Fingerprint, nothing planned, and no new material in the works currently.

Xtro used in Contest Video
A great friend of mine Ryan Becken of “Eye Hustle Entertainment” directed a Commercial for a contest with “Grainbelt” Beer. He used one of my electronic tracks Xtro for the background music, and some crappy happy trance I made for him. They won first place and got a years supply of free beer. I am sure most of you are wondering if I got free beer too. No.. just the glory baby. 
If you follow my site, you know I have done quite a few videos with Ryan since high school, some great some totally embarrassing, please keep those in the vault.

Song for Beer Contest
At the request of my good friend Ryan Becken of Eye Hustle Entertainment, I created a song for the ending of a contest video he did for Summit Beer. It was a short skit about some guy who wears a box on his head, and is bummed about life till he pounds a beer at the end - which is right when this song starts. I am not sure if they won or even placed, however it was a goodtime creating it. Here is the version of the song, plus some alternate takes and a bizzare concept version :). Enjoy.
